Your guide will pick you up to visit the monuments of Aswan, which are not visited by many tourists despite their beauty and magnificence and tell different periods of Aswan's Pharaonic, Nubian and Christian history.
First, we go to the Kalabsha Temple located inside the artificial Lake Nasser, which was created after the construction of the High Dam. The temple is among the monuments that were saved by UNESCO after the construction of the High Dam.
This temple was built to worship the god Mandulis (the god of fertility and the sun for the ancient Nubians). It is a Ptolemaic temple built by Emperor Octavian on the ruins of the original temple built by the Pharaonic King Amenhotep II.
After that, we go to the Nubian Museum, which is dedicated to displaying Nubian artifacts and was established by UNESCO. The museum's exhibits include Pharaonic and Nubian artifacts from the Nubian period of rule in Egypt. It also contains wax statues that simulate the Nubian culture and customs and traditions of Nubian weddings and holidays that still exist today.
After that, we head to the Monastery of Saint Simon, located on the western side of Aswan. The monastery was built in the seventh century and then rebuilt again in the tenth century. Groups of monks lived in the monastery at different stages until the fifteenth century.
To go to the monastery, you will enjoy riding camels to reach the monastery.
After the visit, your guide will take you to your hotel in Aswan

Tipping is standard practice in Egypt.
If you’re happy with services provided by Tour Guides, drivers, waiters, and other workers, It`s a way of saying thank you for all types of services.
It is definitely NOT obligatory but it is absolutely expected everywhere you go, tipping can be in Dollars, Euro, or Egyptian notes but not coins as foreign coins cannot be exchanged or used to buy anything.
We believe these to be some fairly sensible tipping guidelines.
