The Great Pyramid was built by King Khufu to be his final resting place after his death. It is considered the last of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, with a height of about 140 meters. It was built by the engineer Hem Iunu to be the king's tomb. The construction of the pyramid took about 20 years and was built by thousands of Egyptian workers to be the miracle of its time.
We will also see the pyramid of King Khafre, which was smaller than the pyramid of his father, King Khufu, and is about 136 meters high. The valley temple of the pyramid was found in very good condition. King Khafre carved the Sphinx from a single piece of rock.
We will also visit the small pyramid of King Menkaure, which is only 62 meters high. Three small pyramids were found next to it for his royal wives.
After finishing, we will head to the Saqqara area. In the morning, your guide will pick you up from your hotel in Cairo. You will travel to Alexandria, which the Egyptians call the Bride of the Mediterranean for its amazing beauty and unique architectural style among all Egyptian cities.
When you arrive in Alexandria, you will begin your visit to the most beautiful archaeological sites there and you will start by visiting the Kom El Shoqafa Catacombs. It is one of the most beautiful Roman tombs and was dedicated to burying the Roman nobles who settled in Alexandria. The amazing thing is that these tombs were discovered by chance when a donkey fell into the main entrance to the tomb.
You can reach the depth of the tomb via a deep spiral staircase around a cylindrical well and in every corner of the tomb were the remains of mummies of the dead.
We will then move on to visit the Pompey's Pillar and the last remaining part of the Serapeum Temple. It is similar in its construction to Trajan's Column in Italy. This unique piece was carved from a single piece of stone and was carved with precision.
We then go to the Library of Alexandria, which was known to be the largest library of its time and the largest library open to the public. The library was built by order of King Ptolemy I.
After that, we move on to visit the Qaitbay Sea Citadel and Fort, which was intended to protect the port of Alexandria from any hostile naval attacks that might come by sea.
The current site of the citadel was formerly occupied by the famous Lighthouse of Alexandria, which was considered one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.
The citadel was built during the reign of Ashraf Abu al-Nasr Qaitbay and is one of the most beautiful citadels in Egypt.
Your guide will take you directly to the West Bank trip to visit the Valley of the Kings, which bears witness to the greatness of the pharaohs who built tombs befitting their status as representatives of the living image of God on earth and their souls that would become gods in the afterlife.
The Valley of the Kings contains the tombs of the Seventeenth and Eighteenth Dynasties. Among the greatest and most famous kings buried in the Valley of the Kings are King Ramses II, King Seti I and King Thutmose III, the great warrior.
We continue the journey and go to visit the temple of the great queen and the most famous queen who ruled Egypt, Queen Hatshepsut, who was famous as a female queen from a royal lineage, where her great engineer Senmut built her funerary temple as an architectural masterpiece that has no equal in the ancient world.
Queen Hatshepsut ordered the recording of the most important events that occurred during her reign, such as her trade trips to the land of Punt (currently Somalia).
Before the end of the journey, we will stop to see the guardians of the valley, which are the statues of the great king Amenhotep III, known as the Colossi of Memnon, where a temple for King Amenhotep III was surrounded by them, but it was destroyed as a result of a great earthquake that struck ancient Egypt, but its ruins can still be seen.
you will start your trip to Luxor's monuments located on the East Bank of the city.
Karnak Temple, which is considered the largest open museum and the largest archaeological site in the world. It was built by several kings as an expression of their gratitude and thanks to the Theban Triad Amun, Mut and their son Khonsu.
The temple contains several pylons, all of which are in very good condition and depict each king in his own pylon and his worship of the Theban Triad.
After that, you will head to Luxor Temple, which was built by King Amenhotep III in 1400 BC and contains constructions and shrines for the kings of the 18th and 19th dynasties. Luxor Temple and Karnak Temple are also connected by a sacred road, the Avenue of Sphinxes, 3 meters long, which represents the symbolic journey of the divine triad between the two temples.
After the end of the journey, Our tour guide will escort you back to your hotel in Luxor.
Early in the morning, your guide will coordinate with the reception on the boat to prepare your breakfast boxes as you will take a trip to the most beautiful and greatest archaeological sites in Egypt, which is the Abu Simbel Temple Complex.
At 10:00 am, you will head with your guide to travel to the city of Abu Simbel and it will take about 10 hours to get there.
Once you arrive, you will visit the Abu Simbel Temple, which was built by the great King Ramses II as a witness to the power and greatness of this king who conquered Egypt's southern enemies and imposed his control over large parts of Nubia and imposed tribute on them.
To prove his control, he built this great edifice for himself and also built a smaller temple for his wife, Queen Nefertari, to prove his love and appreciation for her as a beloved royal wife.
Do not forget to take many souvenir photos of this wonderful place because it truly deserves many photos due to its enormous size.
After finishing your day tour, Our tour guide will escort you to your hotel in Aswan.
After breakfast, Your guide will take you on a tour of the ancient landmarks of Medina and you will visit
Philae Temple, which is considered one of the most beautiful Ptolemaic temples and is located on Agilkia Island. It is one of the most famous temples that UNESCO saved from drowning after the construction of the High Dam, which flooded many places with water after its construction.
Philae Temple was located before its rescue on Philae Island, which was drowned after the construction of the High Dam. The name Philae means (beloved) in ancient Greek. The temple was dedicated to the worship of the goddess Isis, the protective goddess, and inside the temple there are some buildings dedicated to the worship of the goddess Hathor, the goddess of music and finally.
One of the first Moks who built a temple on an island in it was King Thutmose III, the great warrior who conquered and defeated the Nubians and expanded the southern borders of Egypt to their maximum extent.
After that, we will go to visit the High Dam, which was built by the late President Gamal Abdel Nasser to control the Nile floods that used to come annually and drown many agricultural lands.
The High Dam is considered one of the facilities of great benefit because of the control it achieved in the Nile waters, so that Egypt became an agricultural country with different types throughout the year, and it also protected Egypt from the dangers of flooding.
Before the end of our tour, we will head to the incomplete obelisk, which is located in an ancient quarry used by the Pharaohs to extract very hard flint stones to build giant and strong temples that are not affected by the factors of time.
There is the obelisk that was not completed due to some technical defects and the impossibility of its use, and it was intended for Queen Hatshepsut. This obelisk was supposed to be in the Karnak Temple, but it was left as it was, giving us a good idea and telling us that the Egyptian obelisks were cut from a single stone block.
