On a 10-hour trip, we will take you on a tour to visit two of the most important Egyptian temples located north of Luxor.
They are two of the greatest and most important Egyptian temples due to their great historical value.
The temples of Abydos and Dendera are located north of Luxor and we will take a car trip to them. The Temple of Abydos was built by King Seti I and its construction was completed by his son, King Ramses II.
The Temple of Dendera is a Ptolemaic temple that mimics the future because of the special engravings of the celestial bodies and the constellations that we still use and rely on to this day. The temple also contains an exact copy of the original zodiac that the French took with them to France.

Early in the morning. Your guide will pick you up from your hotel in Luxor to go on a full day trip between two of the most famous Egyptian temples, the Temples of Dendera and the Temple of Abydos.
You will start your trip by traveling north, specifically to the city of Qena, where there is one of the most wonderful and beautiful Ptolemaic temples, the beautiful Temple of Dendera, which was dedicated to the worship of the goddess Hathor, the goddess of music and beauty.
It is located 60 kilometers north of Luxor and 5 kilometers from the city of Qena.
The temple is characterized by being one of the best preserved temples, and it is surrounded by some legends that say that the ancient Egyptians knew light and produced it artificially. Archaeologists prove this hypothesis by the lotus flower (neolophrenia) that contains a snake inside it.
We then move to the Temple of Abydos, which was built by King Seti I and completed by his son, King Ramses II. Archaeologists confirm that the Abydos area was the first capital of Egypt during the period of the first and second dynasties. It was also a pilgrimage destination for the ancient Egyptians, as the city contains the symbolic tomb of the god Osiris.
The temple contains a list of the kings of ancient Egypt from the beginning of the first dynasty to the tenth dynasty. The list contains the names of Hatt-Melk and some kings who Ramses II considered not to be of royal blood or women like Hatshepsut were preserved.
