Early in the morning, you will head with your guide to travel to the city of Abu Simbel and it will take about 10 hours to get there.
Once you arrive, you will visit the Abu Simbel Temple, which was built by the great King Ramses II as a witness to the power and greatness of this king who conquered Egypt's southern enemies and imposed his control over large parts of Nubia and imposed tribute on them.
To prove his control, he built this great edifice for himself and also built a smaller temple for his wife, Queen Nefertari, to prove his love and appreciation for her as a beloved wife.
Do not forget to take many souvenir photos of this wonderful place because it truly deserves many photos due to its enormous size.
After the visit, you will return to Aswan and go to your hotel in Aswan.
Nubian Village Trip.
In the beautiful and charming city of Aswan, there live groups of Egyptians known as Nubians. These groups used to have a great civilization and great kings and were distinguished by their customs and traditions that no one else knew or practiced.
The Nubians currently live in the western part of the Nile River in several villages and practice their own customs and traditions on holidays and social occasions such as weddings.
The Nubians love raising crocodiles in their homes, a custom they inherited from their ancestors, and the Nubian kitchen is famous for some wonderful dishes.
On this trip to the Nubian village, your guide will pick you up from your hotel in Aswan, then you will take a motorbike to cross the Nile River to the western side. On the way, you will see many islands and nature reserves. Upon arrival at the Nubian village, your guide will introduce you to the Nubian people and you will visit a Nubian house, drink tea and see a crocodile.
You will walk in the Nubian markets and see the beautiful handicrafts and natural herbs that the Nubians used in their food and sometimes in treatment. You will visit a Nubian school to see how the students are taught there. After the visit, you will return to the motor to return to your hotel in Aswan
After breakfast, Your guide will take you on a tour of the ancient landmarks of Medina and you will visit
Philae Temple, which is considered one of the most beautiful Ptolemaic temples and is located on Agilkia Island. It is one of the most famous temples that UNESCO saved from drowning after the construction of the High Dam, which flooded many places with water after its construction.
Philae Temple was located before its rescue on Philae Island, which was drowned after the construction of the High Dam. The name Philae means (beloved) in ancient Greek. The temple was dedicated to the worship of the goddess Isis, the protective goddess, and inside the temple there are some buildings dedicated to the worship of the goddess Hathor, the goddess of music and finally.
One of the first Moks who built a temple on an island in it was King Thutmose III, the great warrior who conquered and defeated the Nubians and expanded the southern borders of Egypt to their maximum extent.
After that, we will go to visit the High Dam, which was built by the late President Gamal Abdel Nasser to control the Nile floods that used to come annually and drown many agricultural lands.
The High Dam is considered one of the facilities of great benefit because of the control it achieved in the Nile waters, so that Egypt became an agricultural country with different types throughout the year, and it also protected Egypt from the dangers of flooding.
Before the end of our tour, we will head to the incomplete obelisk, which is located in an ancient quarry used by the Pharaohs to extract very hard flint stones to build giant and strong temples that are not affected by the factors of time.
There is the obelisk that was not completed due to some technical defects and the impossibility of its use, and it was intended for Queen Hatshepsut. This obelisk was supposed to be in the Karnak Temple, but it was left as it was, giving us a good idea and telling us that the Egyptian obelisks were cut from a single stone block.
